Margie has lived in Cody, Wyoming for the last ten years with her husband Dean. She has just begun painting again after a long “layoff” and is thoroughly enjoying being back at the easel.
She received her BFA from the University of Illinois, taught art in Illinois, and is presently co-owner of TimberCreek Interiors in Cody. While living in Illinois, she exhibited work at Neville-Sargent Gallery in Chicago/Libertyville with work in several corporate collections around the Chicago area.
Recently she has studied with David Leffel, Geoff Parker, Sherrie McGraw, Skip Whitcomb, Carol Guzman and Denny Neville.
Currently Swift’s work is represented by Mary Williams Fine Arts, Boulder, CO, Cody Country Art League, Cody, WY, and she participates in the Christmas show as a guest artist at the Big Horn Galleries, Cody, WY. Additionally, she chaired the Buffalo Bill Art Show and Sale in Cody in 2007.
